UAJBA Kickoff and Clean Up

Just a reminder about Friday's Kickoff and Clean Up!

Check out the signup genius link below for info on what to bring (for both clean up and kickoff). If the weather is bad, we will reschedule the clean up but still have the Kickoff and cookout. Thanks and see you Friday!

Player Only Meeting with Coach Sam Clark

Just a reminder that THIS Tuesday, February 5 from 6-7:30 p.m.,  UAHS Varsity Baseball Coach Sam Clark will be speaking to ALL UAJBA players at the UAHS Media Center Level 1.  Please note this gathering is for Players ONLY and ALL UAJBA players 7U-17U are invited to attend.  Coach Clark will speak for 30 minutes and then we will serve pizza and drinks. This is a wonderful opportunity for the kids to meet the high school coach and hang out with some of the other UAJBA players.   We will begin promptly at 6 p.m.  Please drop off your child between 5:45-5:55 p.m. and please pick up your child at 7:15 p.m.  Park in the Brandon Rd lot closest to the building, enter the doors next to "the rock"/visitor parking and turn right down the hallway once you enter the  building, the Learning/Media Center will be on your left.  Any questions, please email me (

UAJBA Volunteers Positions Open

UAJBA is looking for a few people to coordinate Special Events, such as  the Kick Off/Clean Up at Thompson Park on March 29 as well as the Parade float (secure a vehicle, trailer, purchase float decorating items, etc).  Please let me know if you are interested or have any questions.  Thanks!



Koffel's Blast Not Enough in 6-1 Loss

Koffel Hammers 325' Home Run

Cameron Koffel launched a 325' home run to left field against the Louisville Baseball Club Gray in Louisville, KY yesterday afternoon. The blast though wasn't enough for the 13U Black Valentino team as they were downed, 6-1.

Scharfenberger Fires No-Hitter

Strikes Out 4 in 12-0 Win

Nicholas Scharfenberger fired a no-hitter for the 10U Black team yesterday afternoon in a 12-0 win over the the Cincinnati Stars in the Wayne Williams Memorial Tournament in Dublin. Scharfenberger threw 29 of 49 pitches for strikes and was backed by a 12 hit performance by the Bears.
